Why Enroll?

Cocoa Packs is a weekly program that provides weekend and summer food assistance for students in need from the Hershey area.

What’s Included with Cocoa Packs?

Food assistance

Enrolled students have access onsite (Cocoa Packs and pantry) as well at Hershey High School (choice pantry). Each Cocoa Pack contains breakfast items, lunch items, snacks, dinner, and beverages. There is no cost to the program as all food is donated.

Once enrolled in this program, parents may choose from 2 different options for pick up during the school year. Your child/children may pick up their pack(s) on:

  • Thursday evening from 3:30 – 6 pm in the Hershey Middle School (Room B 130), or

  • Fridays prior to dismissal, at their school’s designated distribution location

clothing closet

With your enrollment in Cocoa Packs, you also have access to our Clothing Closet. Cocoa Packs started a Clothing Closet to help clothe Derry Township students in need.

It is in the same location as Cocoa Packs to allow students and their families the ease of getting food and clothing from one location.

Thank you for loving my children so well and giving them a place where they can come and feel cared about. It’s so much more to us than just the food.
